Questions about this item

How long will the 3-cell battery last before it needs replacement?

The 3-cell battery is rated at 45 W power supply capacity; typical lifespan is several years of daily charge cycles before capacity drops enough to warrant replacement.

What limits performance first when the Core i7-1355U runs at 5.00 GHz for extended periods?

The 45 W power supply and integrated Iris Xe graphics thermal envelope cause the 10-core processor to throttle before sustained 5.00 GHz loads can be maintained.

How loud and hot does the laptop get when it runs all day on the 45 W adapter?

Fan noise stays moderate under light loads; during continuous heavy work the chassis warms noticeably around the keyboard deck while the 45 W adapter remains the primary heat source.
