Business laptop with touchscreen

The Dell Inspiron 3530 is a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen notebook built for office work. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a 13th generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday visual tasks. The system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVME solid state drive.

Who this suits and who it does not

This configuration suits professionals who need a responsive touchscreen, ample memory and fast NVME storage for daily productivity. Buyers who require a discrete graphics processor for heavy 3D rendering or video editing should consider other options. Users wanting a lighter chassis or a higher refresh rate display will not find those attributes here.

Deciding specification

The 13th generation Intel Core i7-1355U with 10 cores and a 5.0 GHz maximum turbo frequency is the single specification that determines whether this laptop meets your performance requirements.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the i7-1355U get when the 15.6" FHD touchscreen runs all day?

The 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U with 10 cores and Intel Iris Xe graphics is cooled by the standard chassis and 45W power supply; typical office workloads keep fan noise low and surface temperatures comfortable.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the 2 USB 3.2 Gen1, 1 USB 2.0 and HDMI ports?

You need USB-A devices for the two USB 3.2 Gen1 and one USB 2.0 ports, plus an HDMI cable for external displays; the SD card reader and 3.5 mm combo jack work with standard cards and headsets.

Will the 16GB DDR4 and 512GB NVME drive work with my older USB 2.0 dock and 1080p monitor?

Yes — the USB 2.0 port supports legacy docks, the HDMI output drives 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, and the internal NVME storage and DDR4 memory operate independently of external accessories.
