Dell Inspiron 3530 Touch Laptop

This new Dell Inspiron 3530 is a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. It comes with 24GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVME solid state drive. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, and the chassis measures 14.15 IN x 9.25 IN x 0.90 IN.

Suits mobile professionals wanting touch input

The touch display and 720p webcam support interactive presentations and video calls. Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi handle wireless peripherals and network access. Ports include two USB 3.2 Gen1, one USB 2.0, HDMI and an SD card reader. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics chip, more than two high-speed USB ports, or a larger battery capacity should look elsewhere.

2TB NVME SSD decides storage headroom

The single 2TB NVME drive provides the total high-speed capacity for the operating system, applications and large project files. No additional internal drive bays are mentioned, so the installed SSD capacity is the fixed limit for local data. Confirm this volume meets your workflow before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port support 5.0 Gbps in practice?

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 port operates at up to 5.0 Gbps, so external SSDs and docks will hit that ceiling.

What are the exact chassis dimensions for a sleeve or bag?

The laptop measures 14.15 IN wide, 9.25 IN deep and 0.90 IN thick, weighing 3.5 lb.

How is the 24 GB DDR4 memory installed, and what slot mistake should I avoid?

Memory is soldered on the board with no user-accessible slots, so there is nothing to install or mis-seat.
