Business laptop with 64 GB DDR4

This Dell Inspiron 3530 is a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen notebook powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVME solid state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional use. The 10-core CPU reaches up to 5.0 GHz for demanding workloads.

Connectivity and daily handling

Two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and one USB 2.0 port provide peripheral connections alongside an HDMI output and an SD card reader. A headphone and microphone combo jack handles audio. Wireless 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 manage network and accessory links. The 3-cell battery is charged by a 45 W power supply. The chassis measures 14.15 by 9.25 by 0.90 inches and weighs 3.5 lb.

Upgrade from lower-spec portables

Buyers replacing a machine with less memory or slower storage will notice the jump to 64 GB RAM and NVME speeds. The 10-core processor suits heavier multitasking than dual-core or quad-core alternatives. This configuration is not for users who need discrete graphics or a higher refresh rate display.

Questions about this item

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port cap external drive transfers at?

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports run at 5 Gbps, so external NVMe enclosures will hit that ceiling rather than their native PCIe speeds.

What are the exact chassis dimensions I need to clear for a sleeve or dock?

The laptop measures 14.15 in wide by 9.25 in deep by 0.90 in high and weighs 3.5 lb, so any sleeve or vertical dock must accommodate that footprint.

Does the 64 GB DDR4 upgrade require any driver or BIOS steps after first boot?

The memory is installed and tested before shipping; Windows 11 Pro detects the full 64 GB automatically with no extra driver or BIOS action needed.
