Business laptop with 15.6" FHD touch display

The Dell Inspiron 3530 is a business laptop equipped with a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen running at 60 Hz. It uses a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads reaching up to 5.00 GHz. The system includes 24GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVME solid state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional environments.

Integrated graphics and connectivity for office

Intel Iris Xe graphics handle the internal display and an external monitor through the HDMI port. Wireless connectivity comes from 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Ports include two USB 3.2 Gen1, one USB 2.0, an SD card reader and a headphone/microphone combo jack. A 720p HD webcam supports video calls. The 45W power supply charges the 3-cell battery.

Sustained performance within a thin chassis

The 10-core processor maintains clocks up to 5.00 GHz under load while the integrated graphics share system memory. Thermal management operates inside a chassis measuring 14.15 IN by 9.25 IN by 0.90 IN and weighing 3.5lb. Buyers who need discrete graphics for rendering or gaming workloads will not find that capability here. The fixed memory configuration also means no further RAM expansion is possible.

Questions about this item

How long will the 45 W power supply sustain the Core i7-1355U before the battery starts to drain under full load?

The 45 W adapter powers the i7-1355U and charges the 3-cell battery simultaneously; sustained heavy workloads may draw more than 45 W, so the battery will supplement power once the adapter limit is reached.

What are the typical fan noise and surface temperatures when the Intel Iris Xe graphics and 10-core CPU run all day?

The 15.6-inch chassis with a 45 W power budget keeps fan noise moderate and palm-rest temperatures warm but comfortable during extended business workloads; the 3.5 lb design has no discrete GPU to add extra heat.

Which USB-A hub or dock works with the two USB 3.2 Gen1 and one USB 2.0 ports for extra peripherals?

Any USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A hub or dock connects directly to the two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports for 5 Gbps devices, while the USB 2.0 port handles legacy accessories; the HDMI 1.4 and SD card reader remain available for display and storage expansion.
