Dell Inspiron 3530 touchscreen laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3530 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It uses a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVME SSD. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 display.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This device suits professionals who want a responsive touchscreen for presentations or direct annotation on a 15.6-inch panel. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for rendering or gaming, or those who need USB-C video output, should consider other models. The 45-watt AC adapter supports typical office workloads.

1TB NVME SSD decides storage speed

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB NVME solid-state drive. It provides fast boot and application load times for business applications. Users who need multiple terabytes of local storage or a secondary drive bay will need a different chassis. The 16GB DDR4 memory is soldered and not upgradeable.

Questions about this item

Does the i7-1355U throttle under long workloads because of the 45-watt AC adapter?

The 45-watt AC adapter matches the 15-watt base power of the i7-1355U, so the processor can sustain its rated speed without hitting a charger limit.

How loud and hot does the Inspiron 3530 get when it runs all day?

A 3-cell battery and 45-watt supply keep heat modest; the single fan stays quiet during typical office tasks and only spins up briefly under heavy load.

What ports and cables must I already own to connect an external monitor?

The laptop provides one HDMI 1.4 port, so you need an HDMI cable and a monitor with HDMI input; no USB-C video output is available.
