Dell Inspiron 3535 touch laptop overview

The Dell Inspiron 3535 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop powered by an 8-core Ryzen 7 7730U processor that reaches 4.5 GHz. It comes with 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD for fast storage. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on this new device.

Suits office workers and students needing touch

This model suits users who want a responsive touchscreen for note-taking or presentations and need ample memory for multitasking. Buyers who require a discrete graphics card for gaming or rendering should look elsewhere. Those needing more than 1 TB of internal storage will find the capacity limiting.

1 TB SSD capacity decides fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 1 TB SSD. It determines how many applications and large files can be stored locally. If your workload demands more space, this laptop will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I upgrade the 32GB memory or 960GB SSD later?

The 32GB memory and 960GB SSD are soldered or sealed inside the chassis, so neither can be swapped by the user.

Which component hits its limit first during an all-day 4.5 GHz workload?

The integrated graphics share system memory and thermal budget with the 8-core processor, so sustained turbo clocks will throttle once the shared cooling saturates.

What fan noise and surface heat should I expect when the 8-core CPU runs at 4.5 GHz all day?

The cooling fan spins up to a noticeable hum and the keyboard deck grows warm as the single heat pipe manages both processor and graphics heat.
