Genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connecting the fingerprint reader IO board to the motherboard on Inspiron 5493 and 5494 laptops
This is a genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable for the fingerprint reader on Inspiron 5493 and 5494 laptops. It carries the fingerprint signal from the IO board to the motherboard. The part number is JH59F and it connects to the FP-3 connector on the IO board.
This cable acts as the junction link between the IO board and the motherboard for fingerprint data. It is one of two fingerprint reader cables in the system and sits specifically between those two boards. There are four cables originating from the IO board and this unit connects to the FP-3 position.
The cable is compatible with Dell Inspiron 5493 and 5494 models. It is not suitable for other laptop series or for the other fingerprint reader cable that connects the sensor to the IO board. Buyers needing the sensor-to-IO board cable or a different laptop model cannot use this part.
