Genuine Dell OEM 15.6" LCD back cover for Inspiron

This white lid assembly is a genuine Dell OEM replacement part manufactured for the Inspiron 15 5567 and 5565 models. It restores the original exterior finish and structural integrity of the display panel. The part number is 9G63M.

Bundled wireless antenna cables simplify reassembly

The assembly includes two wireless WLAN WiFi antenna cables pre-routed in the lid. Having these cables already installed removes the need to transfer delicate antenna wires from a damaged cover, reducing repair time and the risk of signal issues.

Hinges are not included with this assembly

The hinges that connect the lid to the chassis are not part of this component and must be sourced separately or reused from the original unit. Buyers who need a complete hinge-and-lid kit will require additional parts not supplied here.

Questions about this item

Will the hinges need to be sourced separately when fitting this 15.6" back cover?

Yes, the hinges are not included with this white lid assembly, so you must reuse the original hinges or buy them separately.

Which component is most likely to limit a full-day repair using this part?

The two WLAN antenna cables included with the cover are the only integrated cables; routing them through the hinge area is the step that usually slows the job down.

Does the white lid assembly affect thermals or fan noise during extended use?

The cover is a passive plastic shell with no vents or electronics, so it adds no heat or noise beyond what the original chassis already produces.
