Repair technicians and DIY owners

Technicians restoring an Inspiron 17 5770 or 5775 with a French-English keyboard will find the correct factory part here. Buyers needing a US-English layout or a backlit keyboard should look elsewhere. Anyone whose laptop uses a different chassis or keyboard language will not be able to use this assembly.

French-English non-backlit keyboard layout

The keyboard uses a French-English key layout and does not have backlighting. This single specification decides whether the part matches the original hardware. Verify the language requirement before ordering.
