Genuine Dell OEM Replacement Part

This is a genuine Dell OEM power cable for the Inspiron 7490 daughter IO board. It carries the Dell part number 66V84 and the alternative reference EDW40_IO_2D_4P. The cable delivers power from the motherboard to the right-side IO daughterboard. It is supplied new and matches the component shown in the product imagery.

For Inspiron 7490 Repair Only

This cable fits the Dell Inspiron 7490 exclusively and will not work in other laptop models. It suits technicians or owners replacing a damaged or missing power flex for the right-side IO board. Buyers who need a different cable, a full IO board assembly, or parts for another Dell series should look elsewhere.

Steady Power Delivery Under Load

The cable maintains a continuous electrical path between the motherboard and the daughterboard during sustained system operation. It handles the constant current draw of the right-side ports without intermittent disconnects. The fixed routing and secure connectors prevent signal loss when the chassis flexes or the laptop is moved.
