The Dell Inspiron 7620 Plus is a 16-inch convertible laptop built around a 10-core Intel Core i5-1235U processor. It ships with 8 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. The touchscreen panel has a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Suits mobile workers needing touch and pen input

This configuration suits users who want a single device for typing, sketching and media consumption on a larger 16-inch canvas. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming or heavy rendering should look elsewhere. The integrated graphics and 8 GB of RAM also limit professional video or 3D workloads.

Verify your workflow fits integrated graphics

Before ordering, confirm that your daily applications run acceptably on integrated graphics and 8 GB of system memory. Check whether you need more storage than the 512 GB SSD provides. Ensure the 16-inch footprint and 2.06 kg weight match your portability expectations.

Questions about this item

Does the 16.0 inch 1920 x 1200 touchscreen require a stylus for pen input?

The display supports touch input with fingers; an active stylus is optional and sold separately if you want pressure-sensitive pen control.

Can I keep using my existing USB-A peripherals with this laptop?

The chassis includes USB-A ports so current mice, keyboards and flash drives plug in directly without adapters.

How can I confirm the Intel Core i5-1235U is reaching its 4.4 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager Performance tab or a monitoring tool such as HWMonitor while running a demanding task; the CPU clock should spike to 4.4 GHz on active cores.
