Genuine Dell Palmrest for Inspiron 14z N411z

This original equipment palmrest assembly is designed specifically for the Dell Inspiron 14z N411z laptop. It arrives new and includes the integrated touchpad, touchpad circuitry, power button, and Quick Launch Buttons circuit board in a black finish.

Verify exact model number before ordering

Confirm the laptop is an Inspiron 14z N411z to ensure correct fitment and connector alignment. This part carries Dell part number RDTMY and is not interchangeable with other Inspiron 14 or 14z variants that use different palmrest designs or ribbon cable layouts.

Direct replacement restores full input function

Installation replaces the upper chassis section housing the touchpad, power button, and quick-launch controls in a single step. The assembly frees the user from separate component sourcing and re-establishes factory click response, gesture tracking, and button illumination without additional cabling.

Questions about this item

Does this palmrest assembly come with the keyboard or do I need to buy it separately?

How do I confirm this RDTMY palmrest fits my Inspiron 14z N411z?

The part is listed as compatible with the Inspiron 14z (N411Z) and carries Dell part number RDTMY; match that number to your service tag or existing palmrest label.

Will the touchpad and quick-launch buttons work immediately after I swap the palmrest?

Yes, the touchpad circuitry and Quick Launch Buttons board are already integrated, so the touchpad and shortcut keys function once the assembly is installed and the ribbon cables are seated.
