Product identity

This Dell Inspiron Touch is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop built around a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor. It ships with 16GB DDR5 memory, a 1TB NVME SSD and Windows 11 Home, plus a lifetime Office licence and an LED mouse. The specification targets professionals and students who want a ready-to-work machine with touch input.

Setup checks

Verify that your peripherals match the available ports: two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, one USB Type-C 3.2 port, one HDMI output and an SD card reader. Confirm your network supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless accessories. The 45W power supply uses a proprietary connector, so spare chargers must be Dell-compatible.

Sustained load behaviour

The 3-cell battery and 45W adapter are sized for typical office workloads rather than continuous heavy compute. Under prolonged multi-core activity the U-series processor will throttle to stay within its thermal envelope, so expect lower clock speeds during long renders or data processing. Fan noise increases noticeably when the chassis temperature rises.
