Questions about this item

How does the Core i7-1185G7 handle heat when the laptop runs all day?

The 13.3-inch chassis weighs 2.8 lbs and measures .67 inches thick, so sustained loads will warm the palm rest and the fan becomes audible under long compile or render sessions.

What is the loudest component after hours of continuous work?

The single cooling fan spins up noticeably when the quad-core processor holds high frequencies, while the SSD and memory stay silent.

Which port must my monitor already have to use the Thunderbolt 4 video output?

Your display needs a DisplayPort 1.4 input or a USB-C port that accepts DisplayPort Alt Mode; the laptop provides two Thunderbolt 4 ports for that connection.
