Refurbished Latitude 5420 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 5420 is a refurbished thin-and-light notebook graded A for excellent cosmetic condition. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-1185G7 quad-core processor with 12 MB L3 cache. The 14.0-inch FHD touchscreen supports 1920 x 1080 resolution. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics use shared system memory. It suits professionals needing a portable, ready-to-deploy Windows device.

16 GB memory and 256 GB NVMe storage

Sixteen gigabytes of RAM provides headroom for typical business multitasking and multiple browser tabs. The 256 GB NVMe drive boots Windows 11 Pro quickly and holds core applications. Storage runs out when users keep large local media libraries or extensive project archives. Memory cannot be expanded beyond the installed 16 GB. Heavy video editing or virtualisation workloads will exceed the integrated graphics and shared video memory.

Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 connectivity

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports handle power, data and external displays through a single cable each. One HDMI 2.0 output connects a second monitor without adapters. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a RJ-45 Ethernet jack cover legacy peripherals and wired networks. A microSD card reader and 3.5 mm combo jack complete the I/O. The chassis measures 12.72 x 8.44 x 0.78 inches and weighs 3.02 lbs. No optical drive is fitted.

Questions about this item

Will the 2 x Thunderbolt 4 ports work with my older USB-C dock that only supports USB 3.2 Gen 1?

Yes, the Thunderbolt 4 ports are backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices, so your existing dock will function for data and video at its rated speed.

How can I verify the Intel Iris Xe Graphics and 16GB memory are active after installing Windows 11 Pro?

Open Device Manager and confirm Intel Iris Xe appears under Display adapters, then check Settings > System > About to see 16GB installed RAM listed.

Does the package include a microSD card or HDMI cable, or just the laptop and power adapter?

The box contains the refurbished Latitude 5420 laptop and a power adapter only; a microSD card and HDMI cable must be purchased separately.
