Questions about this item

Does the Core i5-1145G7 throttle under sustained heavy workloads?

The quad-core Tiger Lake processor has an 8 MB L3 cache and integrated Iris Xe graphics, so prolonged loads will eventually hit thermal limits and reduce clock speeds.

How loud does the cooling fan get during an all-day work session?

The 15.6-inch chassis uses integrated stereo speakers and a standard business cooling design; fan noise rises noticeably when the CPU and shared graphics memory are fully loaded.

What peripherals must I already own to start working with this Latitude 5520?

The box includes only the laptop and charger, so you will need an external monitor, keyboard, mouse and any docking station or USB-C hub your workflow requires.
