This Dell Latitude 5520 is a refurbished thin-and-light business notebook. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, an Intel Core i7 processor at 3.00GHz, 8GB of memory and a 256GB NVMe solid-state drive. The 15.6-inch non-touch display delivers 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution using Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.

Suited for Office Work and Remote Calls

The configuration handles everyday productivity, video conferencing and web-based applications. The integrated webcam and Thunderbolt 4 ports support external displays and docking. Buyers who need user-upgradeable memory, a discrete graphics card or a touchscreen should consider other form factors.

8GB Soldered Memory Decides Fit

The system provides 8GB of memory with no additional slots for expansion. This capacity determines whether the laptop can run your workload without paging. Verify that your applications and multitasking habits fit within this fixed amount before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the Core i7 3.0GHz throttle under long workloads with the shared Iris Xe graphics?

The integrated Iris Xe uses shared system memory and the thin 0.78" chassis limits sustained turbo, so expect clocks to drop during extended heavy loads.

How loud and hot does the 15.6" FHD business laptop get when running all day?

The 3.51 lb thin-and-light design relies on a compact fan; under continuous use the keyboard deck warms noticeably and fan noise becomes audible in a quiet room.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the two Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI 2.0 output?

You need Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C cables and an HDMI 2.0 cable; the laptop has no proprietary dock connector and ships without adapters.
