Refurbished Latitude 5520 for business users

This Dell Latitude 5520 is a refurbished business laptop graded A for excellent cosmetic condition. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with 16GB of memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD. The 15.6-inch full HD touchscreen suits mobile professionals who need a reliable daily driver.

Simple setup with soldered memory

The system arrives with the operating system installed, so initial configuration follows the standard Windows 11 Pro out-of-box experience. Memory is not user-upgradeable, limiting future expansion. The 256GB NVMe drive can be replaced, though disassembly requires removing the base cover and disconnecting the battery first.

Thunderbolt 4 caps external GPU bandwidth

Two USB-C ports support Thunderbolt 4 with Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 for docks or external displays. HDMI 2.0 provides a second video output. Integrated Iris Xe graphics use shared system memory, so the 16GB RAM ceiling also limits graphics performance for heavier workloads.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Intel Core i7-1185G7 and Intel Iris Xe Graphics are performing correctly after setup?

Open Task Manager and check the Performance tab; the CPU should show 4 cores and 12 MB L3 cache, while the GPU should list Intel Iris Xe with shared system memory.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The unit includes the laptop with 256GB NVMe SSD, 16GB memory, Windows 11 Pro, 15.6" FHD touchscreen, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI 2.0, RJ-45 Ethernet, microSD reader, audio combo jack and wedge lock slot; no optical drive is present, so external media requires a separate purchase.

Which configuration should I choose if I need a 15.6" FHD touchscreen, 16GB memory and 256GB NVMe storage?

This model provides exactly that specification — 15.6" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, 16GB RAM and 256GB NVMe — in a Grade A refurbished Dark Gray chassis weighing 3.52 lbs.
