Refurbished Latitude 7420 for business users

This refurbished Dell Latitude 7420 is a 14.0-inch business laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It suits professionals who need a portable Windows machine with a touchscreen and large local storage. The unit is graded Cosmetic Condition Grade A (Excellent).

Thermals noise and power in daily work

The quad-core Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with 12 MB L3 cache handles office workloads using integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. Shared system memory means the GPU draws from the 32 GB RAM pool. No discrete graphics card is fitted, so heat and fan noise stay modest during typical productivity tasks.

2 TB NVMe SSD decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 2 TB M.2 NVMe solid-state drive. Buyers who need more internal capacity than two terabytes must look elsewhere. The drive also sets the storage interface for any future upgrade.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2 TB M.2 NVMe drive and what step is often missed?

The 2 TB M.2 NVMe drive slots into the M.2 connector and is secured with a single screw; the step often missed is tightening that screw fully so the drive stays firmly seated.

What maintenance or replacement will the 32GB memory configuration need later?

The 32GB memory is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded; future maintenance is limited to firmware updates and keeping the cooling vents clear.

What limit appears first on the Intel Iris Xe graphics under sustained workloads?

Shared system memory and thermal headroom of the i7-1185G7 package limit sustained graphics performance before the 12 MB L3 cache becomes a factor.
