Rugged 14 design

The Dell 14 Rugged 7424 is a business laptop built for field work and mobile professionals who need a durable chassis. Its 14.0 inch non-touch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution suits outdoor readability. The unit ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and a backlit keyboard for low-light use.

USB 3.1 and HDMI 2.0 limits

Connectivity centres on 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C and 3 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, plus a single HDMI 2.0 output for external monitors. Wired networking relies on one RJ-45 jack while audio uses a combined headset jack. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and drives the external port.

32GB memory and 512GB SSD headroom

The 32GB of system memory provides ample headroom for multitasking and virtual machines, while the 512GB solid-state drive handles operating system, applications and project files. Integrated graphics and the quad-core i5-8350U limit sustained 3D workloads and heavy video encoding. No optical drive is fitted.
