Refurbished business laptop with 12-core i7

This refurbished Dell 5530 runs a 12-core Intel Core i7-1270P at 2.2 GHz with 32 GB of memory and a 512 GB NVMe drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is installed. The 15.6-inch non-touch panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is aimed at professionals who need a quiet, portable machine for office workloads and video calls.

Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 expand connectivity

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports deliver power, data and DisplayPort 1.4 signalling through USB-C. Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports add legacy support, one of them charging. A single HDMI 2.0 output, RJ-45 Ethernet, a combo audio jack and a microSD slot complete the wired interface set. No optical drive is fitted.

32 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD set the working limits

The soldered 32 GB memory handles large spreadsheet models, heavy browser tab counts and virtual machines without paging. The 512 GB NVMe drive holds the OS, applications and a moderate project library. Users who need more local storage or discrete graphics for 3-D rendering will need an external enclosure or a different chassis.

Questions about this item

Is the 512 GB NVMe drive replaceable, or is it soldered to the board?

The 512 GB NVMe SSD is a standard removable module, so it can be swapped for a larger drive later.

Will the 12-core i7-1270P hit its thermal ceiling before the 18 MB cache saturates under sustained loads?

The 12-core i7-1270P with 18 MB cache will reach its thermal limit first during prolonged heavy workloads.
