Power supply for OptiPlex GX270 and Dimension 3000

This 250 watt ATX unit carries Dell part number K2583 and is built specifically for the OptiPlex GX270 and Dimension 3000 desktops. It delivers the exact voltage rails those chassis expect without adapters or modifications. Installers can reuse the original mounting points and connectors for a direct swap.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The supply runs within its 250 watt rating during typical office workloads so heat output stays modest. Fan speed remains low enough that acoustic contribution is barely noticeable in a quiet room. Power draw at the wall scales with the connected components rather than the unit’s maximum capacity.
