Built for field work

The Latitude 12 Rugged 7212 is a compact laptop with an 11.6 inch touchscreen and a quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory for display output at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Sealed chassis, limited upgrades

The ruggedised enclosure protects internal components against dust, vibration and temperature extremes, so the SSD and memory are not user-accessible. Installation simply means powering on and completing the Windows setup. The main limitation is that storage and RAM cannot be expanded after purchase, and the integrated graphics cannot be swapped for a discrete card.

Mobile professionals in tough environments

This unit suits field engineers, logistics staff and first responders who need a durable touchscreen device that runs standard business applications. Buyers who want more storage, additional memory slots, a larger display or a dedicated GPU should look at something else.
