Replacement 14" LCD Back Cover for Latitude 131L

This is a new Dell OEM replacement LCD back cover lid assembly designed for the Latitude 131L notebook. It arrives with both left and right hinges pre-fitted and includes the wireless antenna wires. The part carries Dell part number DN750 and matches the original 14-inch chassis dimensions. No display bezel or trim is included in the assembly.

Suits owners repairing a cracked

Technicians replacing a damaged lid on this specific model will find the correct hinge mounting points and antenna routing already integrated. Buyers who need the front display bezel, the LCD panel itself, or a complete top cover for a different Dell series should source those parts separately. This item addresses the rear plastic shell and hinge mechanism only.

Dell part number DN750 confirms fit for Latitude

The DN750 part number is the single identifier that guarantees compatibility with the 131L chassis. Match this number against your service tag or the sticker on the original lid before ordering. Using any other part number risks misaligned hinges or missing antenna connectors.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Dell Latitude 131L 14" LCD back cover lid DN750, and which step is often missed?

Remove the old lid, then route the wireless antenna wires through the hinge channels before securing the left and right hinges; skipping the wire routing pinches the cables.

What maintenance will the Dell Latitude 131L 14" LCD back cover lid DN750 need later?

The plastic hinges may loosen over time; check screw torque periodically and replace the lid assembly if cracks appear near the hinge mounts.

What limit appears first on the Dell Latitude 131L 14" LCD back cover lid DN750 under sustained use?

Repeated opening and closing stresses the plastic hinge brackets, which can fatigue and snap before the antenna wires or mounting points fail.
