Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 15 5501 is a 15.6 inch FHD business laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance on the move. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 9th Generation Intel Core i7-9850H six-core processor with turbo speeds up to 4.60 GHz. The system includes 32GB DDR4 memory in a 2x16GB configuration and a 512GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 solid-state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles everyday visual tasks.

Upgrade from older dual-core or 8th Gen systems

This unit replaces laptops limited to four threads or slower storage interfaces. The jump is worth it when workloads demand twelve threads, 12MB cache and NVMe throughput for large datasets or virtual machines. The 35W vPro processor and 51Whr ExpressCharge capable battery support extended sessions away from a desk. Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C ports add modern docking flexibility that legacy chassis lack.

Suits analysts and engineers needing 32GB RAM today

Buyers who want more storage than 512GB or require discrete graphics for rendering should look elsewhere. The non-touch anti-glare panel serves office and field work but does not support pen input or high-refresh gaming. Dual-pointing backlit keyboard and privacy shutter favour productivity over media consumption. Wireless AC 9560 with Bluetooth 5.0 covers standard connectivity needs.
