Genuine Dell Latitude Base Cover

This genuine Dell blue bottom base cover assembly fits Latitude 2100, 2110 and 2120 netbooks. It replaces the original chassis underside and includes the integrated battery latch. The part carries Dell number M447R and arrives in new condition.

Included Battery Latch Simplifies Repair

The assembly ships with the battery latch already fitted, so the swap can be completed without sourcing a separate catch mechanism. Reusing the existing latch from a damaged base is unnecessary, reducing parts handling and reassembly time.

For Owners of Matching Latitude Models Needing

This cover suits anyone restoring a Latitude 2100, 2110 or 2120 to its original blue finish. Buyers with different chassis colours, other Dell series or non-Dell netbooks should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the battery latch on this M447R base cover wear out and need replacing later?

The latch is moulded into the base cover assembly, so it is replaced only if the whole cover is swapped.

What stops this blue base from fitting other Latitude models?

The M447R part number matches only the Latitude 2100, 2110 and 2120 chassis.

Does the plastic warp or get hot when the netbook runs all day?

The cover is a passive shell with no electronics, so it stays at ambient temperature and makes no noise.
