Compatible Dell Latitude Models

This 13.3-inch LCD back cover lid assembly fits Dell Latitude 3340 and 3350 laptops that do not have a touchscreen. It replaces a damaged or worn top cover using Dell part number RNYK3. The part is a genuine OEM component supplied new. Buyers needing a cover for a touchscreen model or a different laptop series cannot use this assembly.

Sustained Structural Role

The cover acts as the permanent rear housing for the display panel and integrates the wireless antenna cables for WLAN connectivity. It maintains signal paths and panel protection continuously during daily opening and closing cycles. Hinges are not included, so existing hinge hardware must be reused or sourced separately. This cover does not support WWAN antenna configurations.

Build Quality and Connectors

The assembly arrives with two pre-routed WLAN antenna cables installed in the lid structure. Mounting points align with the original chassis screw locations for the 3340 and 3350 non-touch models. Verifying the part number against the service tag before ordering ensures the correct antenna layout and avoids fitment issues.

Questions about this item

Does this lid assembly generate any noise or heat during continuous use?

This is a passive 13.3" LCD back cover with integrated WLAN antenna cables; it has no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no noise or heat.

What existing laptop components are required to install this back cover on a Latitude 3340 or 3350?

You must reuse the original hinges, display panel, bezel and webcam module, because this assembly includes only the back cover top and two WLAN antenna cables.

Will this non-touch lid work if I keep the original touchscreen panel from my Latitude 3350?

No — the RNYK3 cover is built for non-touch models only and does not support a touchscreen LCD; you would need the touchscreen-specific lid instead.
