Dell Latitude 3490 Front Trim Bezel

This genuine Dell OEM front trim bezel fits the 14 inch Latitude 3490 laptop equipped with a touchscreen and the optional IR camera. It replaces a cracked or missing front frame around the display panel.

Replaces damaged original bezel

Install this part when the existing front trim is broken, loose or cosmetic damage affects the IR camera window. The jump is worth it only for Latitude 3490 models that originally shipped with both touchscreen and IR camera hardware.

Limited to specific display configuration

This bezel works solely with the touchscreen LCD assembly that includes the IR camera cutout. It will not fit non-touch Latitude 3490 screens or touchscreen models lacking the IR camera module.

Questions about this item

Will this 14" front trim bezel fit my Latitude 3490 with the touchscreen and IR camera?

Yes, this MJ87M bezel is made for the Latitude 3490 when it has a touchscreen LCD and the optional IR web camera.

How do I install the bezel, and what step do people often miss?

Remove the old bezel by releasing the hidden clips around the perimeter; the step many miss is disconnecting the IR camera cable before lifting the frame away.

Does the IR camera window on this bezel degrade or need replacement over time?

The window is moulded into the bezel and does not wear out; only a cracked bezel or damaged camera module would require a new part.
