Latitude 3520 for Business and Study

The Dell Latitude 3520 is a 15.6-inch laptop built for office work and study. An 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and 8MB cache reaches 4.2 GHz turbo frequency. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 1366 x 768 60Hz IPS display. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

DDR4 Memory and PCIe NVMe Storage Limits

The system uses 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM memory soldered in a dual-channel layout. This capacity cannot be expanded beyond the factory configuration. The 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD occupies the single M.2 slot, so additional internal storage requires replacing the drive rather than adding a second one.

Headroom for Multitasking and Light Creative Tasks

Thirty-two gigabytes of RAM provides comfortable headroom for heavy browser sessions, video calls and document editing simultaneously. The 256GB NVMe drive holds the operating system and a moderate application library but fills quickly with large media projects or local databases. Buyers who want more storage or user-upgradeable memory should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32GB DDR4 model or a lower-memory version?

The 32GB DDR4 configuration suits multitasking workloads such as virtual machines, large spreadsheets and multiple browser tabs; a smaller capacity would limit those tasks.

What does the 4.2 GHz turbo frequency deliver in daily use?

The Core i5-1135G7 can boost to 4.2 GHz for short bursts, speeding up single-threaded tasks like app launch and web browsing before returning to the 2.40 GHz base.

What does the USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port support?

The USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port provides high-speed data transfer and can carry video output to an external monitor.
