Business-ready laptop with 32 GB DDR4

The Dell Latitude 3520 pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro runs on the 15.6-inch HD display. This configuration targets professionals who need responsive multitasking and fast storage in a standard business chassis.

Sustained workload behaviour

The four-core processor reaches 4.2 GHz turbo frequency with 8 MB cache, while integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory. Under continuous load the 65 W power supply and 54 Whr battery balance performance and runtime. Thermal management keeps clocks stable during extended office tasks without throttling.

Thermals noise and power

Fan noise stays low during typical productivity work thanks to the modest 15 W base power envelope. The 54 Whr battery supports several hours of unplugged use at 60 Hz refresh. A 65 W adapter recharges the three-cell pack while the system runs cool on a desk or lap.

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the i5-1135G7 get when the 32 GB DDR4 and 512 GB PCIe SSD run all day?

The 4-core i5-1135G7 has a 2.40 GHz base and 4.2 GHz turbo with 8 MB cache; the 65 W power supply and 54 Whr 3-cell battery are sized for that thermal envelope.

What peripherals must I already own to use the USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, HDMI and micro-SD reader?

You need a USB-C device or cable for the Gen2 port, an HDMI cable for external displays, and micro-SD cards for the card reader.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and 720 p webcam accessories work with the USB 2.0 port and built-in 720 p camera?

Yes, the single USB 2.0 port is backward-compatible with older drives, and the integrated 720 p HD webcam functions without extra hardware.
