Latitude 3520 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor with four cores reaching 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The HD display offers 1366 x 768 resolution without touch input. Integrated graphics handle the visual output.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 1.2 GHz base clock and four-core design provide steady throughput for office applications and multitasking. Turbo Boost lifts frequency to 4.7 GHz for short bursts when thermal headroom allows. Integrated graphics share system memory, so extended 3D tasks remain limited. The 256 GB SSD keeps application loading consistent.

Thermals noise and power

A 4.5 mm barrel connector delivers power to the 18.06 mm thick chassis weighing 1.79 kg. Fan activity scales with CPU load during typical productivity work. The HD non-touch panel and integrated graphics help contain overall power draw. Surface temperatures stay comfortable for lap use during normal operation.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Core i7-1165G7 get when running at its 4.7 GHz turbo all day?

The 4-core processor reaches 4.7 GHz under load; sustained heat and fan noise depend on workload and ambient temperature.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the HDMI 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and RJ-45 ports?

An HDMI 1.4 cable for external displays, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A devices or cables, and an RJ-45 Ethernet cable for wired networking.

Will the integrated graphics drive my older 1366 x 768 monitor over HDMI 1.4 without a discrete GPU?

Yes, the integrated graphics output 1366 x 768 over the HDMI 1.4 port, so an older monitor at that resolution works directly.
