Genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connecting the right-side SD, audio and USB I/O board to the motherboard on Latitude 3520 and 3420 laptops
This genuine Dell OEM part connects the right-side I/O board to the motherboard on the Latitude 3520 laptop. It carries signals for the USB, SD card reader and audio ports. The cable is listed as compatible with the Latitude 3420 as well. Buyers needing a replacement for a different laptop model cannot use this part.
The flat flexible cable is manufactured to Dell specifications and carries part number KRF11 with alternates CYBG_L15_USB_FFC and 450.0NG08.0001. It routes inside the chassis to link the side-panel board to the main board. Technicians should verify the connector orientation before seating the cable. Installers working on other Dell series will find the connectors do not match.
The ribbon carries only low-voltage data and power lines between the board and the motherboard. It generates no measurable heat and requires no active cooling. Normal operation adds no audible noise to the system. Users who need a part for a damaged charging circuit or high-current path should look elsewhere.

The KRF11 is a flexible flat cable that routes USB, SD card and audio signals between the right-side I/O board and the mainboard on Latitude 3520 and 3420 models.
It is shaped to fit the right-side chassis channel of the Latitude 3520 and 3420, with pre-folded bends that align the board-end and motherboard-end connectors in their fixed slots.
Disconnect the battery, remove the bottom cover, unplug the old cable from both the I/O board and motherboard ZIF sockets, route the new cable along the molded path, seat each end fully and lock the ZIF latches before reassembly.
