Genuine Dell IR Camera Bezel

This genuine Dell front trim bezel fits the 15.6-inch display on Latitude 3560 and 3570 laptops equipped with the optional IR web camera. The plastic cover includes the dedicated window required for infrared facial recognition hardware. Part number Y33D3 identifies this specific assembly.

Installation and Compatibility

The bezel snaps onto the existing LCD panel frame, replacing a damaged or missing original without requiring adhesive or tools beyond a pry tool. It restores the structural seal around the display and the precise cut-out alignment for the IR sensor module. This part is not compatible with models fitted only with a standard HD web camera.

Replacement Context

The bezel replaces a cracked, scratched or lost front cover on supported Latitude 3560 or 3570 units that originally shipped with IR camera hardware. The upgrade is worthwhile when the current bezel no longer holds the display panel securely or obscures the IR window, preventing Windows Hello authentication from functioning.

Questions about this item

Will this 15.6" bezel fit a Latitude 3570 that has the standard HD webcam?

No, the IR camera window is shaped differently so the bezel only fits models ordered with the optional IR web camera.

Does the bezel generate any heat or noise once the laptop is running all day?

It is a passive plastic cover with no electronics, so it adds no heat and makes no sound.

What else must the buyer already own for this bezel to work?

A Dell Latitude 3560 or 3570 chassis with the IR web camera module already installed.
