Rugged 14-inch touchscreen laptop

The DELL Latitude 5420 Rugged is a durable laptop built for tough environments. It combines an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. A 14.0-inch FHD touchscreen with outdoor-readable features supports field work. Dedicated AMD Radeon RX 450 graphics with 2GB video memory handle visual tasks. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth keep you connected on the move.

Field workers needing LTE and rugged build

This unit suits professionals who require a semi-rugged chassis, 4G LTE connectivity and a responsive touchscreen for outdoor use. The quad-core processor and dedicated graphics manage business applications and light creative workloads. Buyers who need more graphics memory or higher GPU performance for intensive 3D rendering should look at something else. Users wanting a lighter ultraportable without rugged reinforcement will find this chassis heavier.

Dedicated AMD Radeon RX 450 graphics

The discrete GPU with 2GB video memory is the specification that decides suitability for visual workloads. It provides hardware acceleration for CAD viewers, GIS software and video playback beyond integrated graphics. The 512GB NVMe SSD and 16GB DDR4 memory support multitasking and fast boot times. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.
