Genuine Dell Touchpad Ribbon Cable for Latitude

This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connects the touchpad palmrest assembly to the motherboard in a Latitude 5430 Chromebook. It carries part numbers 450.0S402.0001 and Bernadino 14 TP FFC CABLE. The part is supplied new and matches the component shown in the product images.

Verify exact model and part number before ordering

Confirm that the laptop is a Latitude 5430 Chromebook, as this cable is designed specifically for that model. Check the existing cable for the part numbers 450.0S402.0001 or Bernadino 14 TP FFC CABLE to ensure a correct match. Inspect the connector orientation and pin count on the current assembly to avoid fitment issues.

Replaces a damaged or faulty original touchpad

This cable restores touchpad functionality when the original flex circuit is torn, creased or suffering from intermittent contact. The upgrade is worthwhile when the palmrest assembly is otherwise intact and only the ribbon connection has failed. It is not suited for repairs on other Latitude models or non-Chromebook variants.
