The DELL Latitude 5490 is a 14.0 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.90GHz. It comes with 32GB of memory and a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

Suited for mobile professionals needing high memory

This configuration suits users who run virtual machines or keep many applications open simultaneously. The 32GB RAM supports heavy multitasking workloads. Buyers who need a touchscreen display or a larger screen should look at other models.

Deciding specification 32GB RAM and 1TB NVMe

The combination of 32GB memory and 1TB NVMe storage determines if this unit fits the workload. It allows large datasets and multiple virtual machines to stay resident. If the workflow requires more than 32GB of memory, this laptop will not be sufficient.
