Genuine Dell OEM Palmrest Touchpad Assembly

This genuine Dell OEM palmrest touchpad assembly replaces the original part on compatible Latitude laptops. It includes the touchpad module, smart card reader, dual mouse button sets and centre stick support. The assembly arrives exactly as pictured and is ready for installation.

Dual Point Layout With Smart Card Reader

The dual point design provides two sets of mouse buttons above and below the touchpad alongside a centre stick pointer. It comfortably handles standard navigation and smart card authentication for Latitude 5490, 5491 and 5495 models. Systems without the dual pointing keyboard setup cannot use this assembly.

Dell Part Number A176U3 Compatibility

The decisive specification is Dell part number A176U3, also referenced as T2C12, which confirms fitment only for Latitude 5490, 5491 and 5495 units equipped with a smart card reader. Buyers whose laptops lack the smart card reader or use a different palmrest part number need a different replacement.
