Latitude 5490 14.0" business laptop

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for everyday office work. It runs on an Intel Core i5-8350U processor at 1.70GHz with 16GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed. The non-touch display keeps things simple for standard productivity tasks.

Suits mobile workers needing legacy ports

This model fits professionals who still rely on a VGA connection for older projectors or monitors. The single HDMI port covers modern displays. Buyers who need a touchscreen for presentations or a discrete graphics chip for design work should look at something else. The integrated graphics handle typical business applications only.

Check your display and OS requirements

Verify that your existing monitors accept VGA or HDMI input before ordering. Confirm that Windows 10 Pro meets your software compatibility needs, as the operating system is already installed. The 256GB drive offers limited space for large local files, so plan for cloud storage or an external drive if you keep heavy media libraries.
