Suits Frequent Travellers, Not Heavy Creators

This configuration suits professionals who travel often or meet clients and need reliable connectivity via HDMI, VGA and USB-C with DisplayPort. The 15W processor and 32GB memory handle office multitasking well. Buyers who want more storage or a higher resolution screen for detailed creative work should look at something else.

Charger and Battery Included

The package includes the laptop, charger and battery so the system is ready to use immediately. Three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11n wireless provide flexible peripheral and network options. A built-in webcam supports video calls without extra accessories.

Questions about this item

Does the 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD need an adapter or bracket to install in the 5490?

The drive uses the M.2 SATA form factor that the 5490 accepts directly, so no adapter or bracket is required.

Can I keep using my older VGA projector with the HDMI and VGA ports on this unit?

Yes, the laptop provides both an HDMI port and a VGA port, so a legacy VGA projector connects without an adapter.

How do I confirm the 32 GB DDR4 memory is recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose Memory and verify that 32 GB appears as the installed capacity.
