14-inch business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0-inch notebook built for professionals who need reliable performance away from the desk. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor clocked at 1.90GHz with 16GB of memory. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the Full HD display output. A 512GB solid-state drive provides the system storage.

Check your workflow needs and port requirements

Verify that a 14-inch non-touch screen suits your daily viewing comfort and that Windows 10 Pro meets your software compatibility requirements. The integrated graphics are designed for general business applications rather than intensive 3D rendering or gaming workloads. Confirm the available ports match your docking station or peripheral needs before ordering. The 512GB capacity should be assessed against your local file storage habits.

Windows 10 Pro and SSD shape the experience

Windows 10 Pro enables domain join, BitLocker encryption and remote desktop features for managed environments. The 512GB solid-state drive delivers faster boot times and application launches compared to a traditional hard drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses system memory, so the 16GB allocation supports both the operating system and graphical tasks. No discrete GPU or touchscreen is included.
