Verify ports and power

Check that your existing peripherals match the available connections: three USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port with DisplayPort alternate mode, plus HDMI and VGA outputs. Confirm your dock or monitor cables fit these interfaces and that the supplied power adapter meets the unit's requirements. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 4.1.

Chassis and daily use

The unibody chassis uses soft-touch paint with an optional carbon-fibre lid, weighing 3.01 lbs in a footprint six percent smaller than earlier models. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the internal panel and external displays via HDMI, VGA or the USB-C port. The bottom-load keyboard and narrow-border screen support extended typing sessions on the move.
