The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday productivity and external displays. A 720p webcam supports video calls on the move.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 16 GB DDR4

The processor runs at 1.90 GHz with four cores, eight threads and 8 MB cache inside a 15 W envelope. System memory is 16 GB DDR4, paired with a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for fast boot and load times. This combination decides whether the laptop fits your workload.

Suits office work and light travel.

Buyers who want discrete graphics, a touchscreen or more internal storage should look elsewhere. The non-touch FHD panel and integrated graphics limit gaming and creative rendering. Grade B cosmetic blemishes mean the chassis shows scratches or surface marks.

Questions about this item

How does the 1.9 GHz quad-core i7-8650U perform in everyday workloads?

The 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8650U runs at 1.9 GHz with four cores, eight threads and 8 MB cache, giving responsive performance for office applications, web browsing and multitasking within its 15 W power envelope.

What external displays can the USB-C and HDMI ports drive?

The USB-C port carries DisplayPort signalling and the HDMI port supports 1080p output, so you can connect one external monitor via HDMI and a second through a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter.

Will the 14-inch chassis accept a second M.2 drive?

The laptop ships with a single 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD installed; the specifications list only one M.2 slot, so additional internal storage would require replacing the existing drive.
