Mobile workstation with quad-core i7

The Dell Latitude 5490 pairs an Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.9 GHz with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe solid-state drive. A 14.0-inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch display and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handle everyday visual tasks. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed on a chassis rated Grade B for cosmetic wear.

Ready to use with minimal setup

The laptop ships with a charger and battery installed, so first boot only requires a power connection and the standard Windows out-of-box experience. One USB-C port doubles as a DisplayPort output alongside full-size HDMI and VGA connectors for external screens. Three USB 3.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet cover legacy peripherals without adapters.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

Buyers who want a compact 14-inch device with native HDMI, VGA and Ethernet for meeting-room hookups will find the mix convenient. The 256 GB NVMe drive and integrated graphics limit users who need large local datasets or discrete GPU performance for rendering or gaming. The Grade B screen shows visible scratches, so buyers expecting a flawless panel should look elsewhere.
