Business laptop with 14-inch FHD display

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with a 4.20 GHz turbo frequency. It comes with 8GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. The non-touch FHD screen delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution for clear visuals in office environments.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

This configuration suits professionals who require a full set of legacy connections such as VGA, RJ-45 and DisplayPort over USB Type-C alongside modern USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports. Buyers who need a solid-state drive for faster boot times or a dedicated graphics card for intensive rendering should consider other options.

Quad-core processor reaches 4.20 GHz turbo

The i7-8650U provides four cores with a base clock of 1.90 GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.20 GHz, determining how the system handles multi-threaded workloads and burst performance. This clock speed ceiling is the key specification for evaluating whether the laptop meets your processing requirements.
