Business laptop with 15.6-inch HD screen

The Dell Latitude 5520 is a 15.6-inch laptop running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-1165G7 four-core processor. It ships with 32GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The non-touch display has a 1366 x 768 HD resolution and integrated graphics. It suits office workers and mobile professionals who need a ready-to-use system for daily productivity.

Check ports and operating-system plans

Verify that the two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2, RJ45 and uSD 4.0 card reader cover your peripheral needs. The SmartCard reader is optional and may not be fitted. Windows 10 Pro is preinstalled; a free upgrade to Windows 11 is offered by the vendor when it becomes available.

Replaces older 15-inch business notebooks

This unit upgrades from earlier 15-inch Latitude models that have less memory, slower storage or lower-resolution screens. The jump is worth it when you need 32GB RAM and a 512GB SSD for multitasking and fast boot times. Buyers who want a higher-resolution panel, discrete graphics or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a power adapter and are any cables sold separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro preinstalled, a 512GB SSD and 32GB of memory already fitted, plus the integrated webcam and Thunderbolt ports. The power adapter is included; no extra cables are required for basic use.

Should I choose the 32GB memory and 512GB SSD version or look for a different capacity?

This model is offered with 32GB of memory and a 512GB SSD as the only configuration listed, so there is no alternative capacity to select.

What does the 4.7 GHz turbo figure mean for everyday performance?

The Core i7-1165G7 runs at 1.2 GHz base and can reach 4.7 GHz on up to four cores when thermal headroom allows, giving short bursts of higher speed for demanding tasks.
