Latitude 5520 15.6" FHD laptop

The Dell Latitude 5520 is a 15.6 inch business laptop with a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i5 1145G7 processor at 2.60 GHz with four cores and eight threads. The system includes 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD, shipping with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed.

Professionals needing a single portable workstation

This configuration suits professionals who need a single portable workstation with ample memory and fast storage for office applications and video calls. The 32GB memory ceiling means buyers who want more storage or memory expansion should look at something else, as the maximum supported memory is already installed. Thunderbolt 3 ports allow docking, but users requiring discrete graphics performance for heavy 3D work will not find it here.

32GB DDR4 soldered limit

The deciding specification is the 32GB DDR4 memory limit, which matches the installed capacity and cannot be increased. Buyers anticipating future memory upgrades must choose a different model, while users whose workloads fit within 32GB get a ready-to-use system with no memory slots to populate.
