Questions about this item

How do I route the SOUTHPEAK15_TO ribbon cable through the chassis when replacing the touchpad on a Latitude 5520?

Feed the flat cable under the battery frame, align the gold contacts with the motherboard ZIF connector, then flip the locking bar down; the step most people miss is tucking the excess length into the recessed channel so the palm-rest sits flush.

When should I replace the 450.0M60D.0011 touchpad flex cable on a Precision 3560?

Swap it if the cursor jumps, gestures stop registering, or the ribbon shows crease marks near the hinge after a screen repair; the part is rated for the laptop's service life unless physically damaged.
