Dell Latitude 5570 dual-drive mobile workstation

This 15.6-inch notebook pairs a 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6440HQ quad-core processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory. It ships with a 1 TB M.2 solid-state drive and a 2.5-inch 1 TB hard drive for combined capacity. The FHD display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution using integrated Intel HD Graphics with Radeon support. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed.

Verify power connector

The unit uses a proprietary barrel-style power input rated for the supplied adapter. Video output relies on full-size HDMI and VGA ports; there is no DisplayPort or USB-C video alternate mode. Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 3.0 PowerShare port handle peripherals. An RJ-45 jack provides wired networking and an SD 4.0 slot accepts memory cards. A docking e-Port is present for compatible Dell docks.

Suits office workers needing large local storage

Buyers who want a single-drive SSD-only configuration should look elsewhere. The optical drive bay is absent, so disc-based media cannot be read internally. Memory is limited to the installed 8 GB configuration with two occupied slots. Users requiring discrete graphics acceleration or a touchscreen display will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Does the box include both the 1 TB M.2 SSD and the 2.5" 1 TB hard drive or must I buy one separately?

The laptop ships with both drives already installed — a 1 TB M.2 SSD plus a 2.5" 1 TB hard drive — so no extra storage purchase is required.

Should I pick the 8 GB DDR4 configuration or the maxed-out 32 GB option for heavy multitasking?

The 8 GB (4 GB × 2) setup handles everyday office work, while the 32 GB ceiling is there for users running virtual machines or large datasets.

What does the 2.6 GHz quad-core i5-6440HQ actually deliver when Windows 10 Pro is loaded?

The processor runs at 2.6 GHz base and can boost to 3.5 GHz, giving snappy response for typical business applications and light creative tasks.
