Rugged 11.6 inch FHD touchscreen 2-in-1 with Intel Core i5-8350U, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD running Windows 11 Pro
Operating System Windows 11 Pro
Memory 16GB
Model Tablet Only
The Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme is an 11.6-inch detachable 2-in-1 running Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-8350U with 16 GB of soldered memory and a 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD. It targets mobile professionals who need a fully sealed, touch-capable device that survives drops, vibration and extreme temperatures while remaining light enough for one-handed use.
A single docking connector with dual RF pass-through, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C with DisplayPort and PowerShare, mini HDMI via Type-C, micro serial, microSD and micro-SIM slots let you attach vehicle mounts, external antennas, legacy instruments or extra storage without breaking the chassis seal. The included 65-watt AC adapter keeps the 3-cell battery topped up between shifts.
The 1 TB drive and 16 GB of RAM handle local databases, offline maps and multi-app workloads typical of utilities, logistics and public-safety crews. Memory is fixed at 16 GB with no slots, so virtual-machine-heavy workflows or large image sets will hit the ceiling. The 11.6-inch 1920 x 1080 panel stays readable in sunlight but limits multi-window productivity compared with larger screens.
Measured against everything we stock in 2-in-1 Touchscreen Laptops, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
The memory is soldered to the system board with no slots available, so the 16 GB capacity is fixed.
The 65-watt AC adapter defines the sustained power ceiling for the quad-core processor.
The 0.7-inch chassis relies on internal fans to manage heat from the i5-8350U and 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD.
